MICHEL CAMP FIRE

The Fire Master Control (FMC) of Ghana National Fire Service received a distress call at 0040hrs on Wednesday, 16th of January, 2019 reporting a fire outbreak at Michel Camp, Accra.  Firefighters from Gbetsile Fire Station were quickly dispatched because it was closer to the fire scene and they arrived at exactly 0043hrs.

The Ghana National Fire Service received a distress call at 0630hrs reporting a fire outbreak at Dansoman. Personnel from the Dansoman fire station which is the nearest station to the fire scene were immediately dispatched.

The Second Lady, Mrs. Matilda Amissah-Arthur has launched Home Fire Safety Campaign at the Fire Academy and Training School at James Town in Accra. The Home Safety Campaign is an initiative of the Ghana National Fire Service aimed at putting in place a strategy to drive home the need to adopt and put in place fire safety measures at home to ensure that, such fires are prevented.
