Head of Legal
Provides technical, operational and administrative leadership for the efficient and effective performance of the legal functions of the Service.
- Provides legal advice on matters relating to the operations of the Service
- Collaborates with Attorney General’s Department and other stakeholders for the preparation and review of legal documents and processes.
- Ensures the gazette of notices issued under the Ghana National Fire Service Act and other Regulations.
- Ensures the drafting, reviewing and processing of legal documentation and agreements.
- Ensures the development and implementation of strategies for effective prosecution, litigation and use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms for the Service.
- Represents the Service on matters that may be brought before the court of law and other quasi bodies.
