Provides technical, operational and administrative leadership for the efficient and effective performance of the Policy Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation functions of the Service.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Coordinates the development and review of the Service’s monitoring and evaluation framework, systems and tools.
- Ensures the development of performance indicators for programs and activities of the Service.
- Collaborates and builds relationships with stakeholders in carrying out the functions of the Directorate.
- Coordinates the preparation of the Service’s Medium-Term Development Plan and Annual Action Plans, in accordance with the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) guidelines.
- Ensures the preparation of the Chief Fire Officer’s annual guidelines.
- Oversees the implementation of the Performance Management System within the Directorate.
