Steps to Acquire a Fire Certificate/Permit

1. Request for inspection and submit the following to the Fire Department (each with dimensions):
   • Site Plan
   • Block Plan
   • Floor Plan
2. Inspection of Project/Building by Fire Department.
3. Present Fire Engineering drawings to the Fire Department.
4. Apply for Fire Certificate/Permit from the Fire Department.
5. The Fire Department operates a Risk-based system. Projects are categorized as:
   • Low Risk Projects
   • Medium Risk Projects
   • High Risk Projects
6. Turnaround time for most projects (Low Risk) is five (5) days.
   Issued by Fire Safety Directorate.
